Brian was AMAZING to deal with. I arranged for him to play at my Grandfather's funeral. I'm in Los Angeles and the funeral was in Washington. Having Brian was a final farewell gift to my papa and Brian made it so special. His performance was so touching and beautiful. He stayed after he played and even talked with the guests and my family, not knowing any of them. I'm so grateful to Brian! Thank you!

Brian was a great addition to our wedding. We exchanged emails and spoke on the phone to go over the play list. He even provided YouTube videos of the songs he recommended for the recessional music. On the day he arrived early and made sure that all was in order before the ceremony~not just for his performance, but he made sure all of our boys put their kilt accoutrements on properly! Brian is a very talented musician and plays beautifully.  As he played that evening, he wandered around the grounds and you could hear the bagpipes echoing across the lake.  It was an unforgettable day.

I wanted to take a minute and share an experience we had this last weekend with Brian McKenzie at my Dads funeral. I had spoken with Brian a few times regarding him possibly playing "Amazing Grace" for my Dads memorial. Brian was absolutely amazing. He walked into the building and started playing a prelude to garner all the attention. And boy did he. The plan was to come in unannounced, and make an impact. You could see people looking around at the sound of the bagpipes. Then Brian entered in his native apparel and the entire room stood to attention. After Brian walked up to my Dads urn, pictures and memorial table, he slowly turned and faced the room. He then ended the prelude and started in with Amazing Grace. It was absolutely beautiful. He played the full song, all the chorus' and then ended with nice applause. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. Brian offered to stay and continue playing but the atmosphere was just for that one bold and beautiful song. I didn't want to take from that. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian for such an event. His professionalism and communication through; phone, text and emails are perfect. Thanks again Brian, Lord Bless you and to quote you... "Cheers!" Jerrell Snell

Brian performed at my mother's 90th birthday party. What an amazing bagpiper!  He was very professional and very charming.  Everyone, especially my mom, loved his performance.  I highly recommend him.
