My surgeon called the office on Wednesday due to me having just been in the hospital and having some severe symptoms. The office got me in at 9am the next day. The doctor was VERY caring and concerned. Set me up for tests ASAP. Listened to me and explained everything he was having done in detail. His office staff were beyond caring and kind and very professional.

I was recommended to see Dr. Stephen Lawrence last year when I asked my primary for a referral. I'm so glad she pointed me in his direction because he is an incredible doctor. He supported me when I requested to stay med free, offered natural solutions for bloating and gas pain and realistic advice for if my condition gets any worse. He also supported me when I flared badly and needed to be put back on meds. I feel that there are very few doctors out there who can support someone for their own beliefs, since I like to balance eastern and western medicine I've been shamed in the past by other doctors, so I truly believe that Dr. Lawrence is a gem. 

It is a challenge to get an appointment right away, you have to book in advance, but this is pretty standard for most GI docs in my (20+ years) experience. When I needed his help immediately I just asked his assistant to take a message, and I've done this a couple of times before, and I'd get a phone call back within a business day or two with solutions. 

I had a fantastic pediatric gastroenterologist and it took me nearly a decade to find somebody who I felt comfortable with and who worked with me about my care in such a supportive way. Highly recommend

It's very fustrating that it took 4 weeks to get the door, then I had to wait an hour and a half to see the doc, even though I was the only one in the waiting room, then to be told your fat, you don't make anysense, your symptoms are in your head, then zena says I don't care I am not here for you or to babysit you, I am only here for prescrip drugs, and even though you are having major side affects you have to live with them, even the drug maker says stop taking with any of the sides affects. I warn anyone, they will not listen or want to help, they will blame your weight and lifestyle and start telling you how good they are at being heathly. 
It's a sad day for all us sick ones since there is no help anymore......

‎‎ I was recommend to Dr Steven Lawrence by my doctor. First let me say that I had to wait about 3-4 weeks to even get a appointment. Then on appointment day the doctor was 1 1/2 hours late to see me. Then in the middle of our visit he got a personal phone call on his cell and wanted to leave to take that. I told him that I needed to leave so he finally told them he would call them back. He seemed knowledgeable but after waiting that long.... he kind of rushed through me. Unbelievable... never even apologized for being over an hour late to see me! He needed me to have blood test which I did - I had to call his office 6 days in a row to ever get the results! No one would call me back! I don't know if his office is just totally unorganized or if it is him. Just be aware of my problems with this office. I found it TOTALLY un-professional.‎
