TERRIBLE BILLING DEPARTMENT!! I went there for a procedure in May only to be told at the time of my arrival that I owed over $1,000 because I didn't have ambulatory coverage. I paid it because I had already done all the prep and was ready for the procedure. Figured I'd work it out later. Called my insurance company and turns out I do have ambulatory coverage and should never have been charged up front!! It's now September and I'm still fighting with them. They told me since I paid it I was agreeing to the "discounted" amount. I paid it under the false pretense of not having coverage. Giving them 2 stars because the doctors and nurses were great but won't go back because of their awful billing department.

Unfortunately this office has a few deficiencies. First, the procedure, schedule, and initial instructions were easy enough to navigate and professionally done. However, the medication the physician prescribed required a pre-authorization from insurance in order to utilize insurance benefits. Standard, and not hard to acquire by the doctor's office. After weeks of waiting for this pre-auth, I again contacted the office to ask them to seek the pre-auth again. That is when it became apparent that they ignored my first request to do so, and stated they would do so now. Still no pre-authorization was submitted (as verified by insurance), or received. Secondly, I paid a one time payment in the thousands for the procedure. Not fun, but ripped of the band-aid so I wouldn't have to worry about billing later. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Months later and I'm still getting the run around on a few hundred other dollars of bills that no one from their listed billing inquiry office is able to answer clearly what it is for. This office isn't even familiar with what an EOB is (because, as much as I hate to do it, I'm going to work with the insurance directly to try to understand where these additional costs are coming from), and I was told that "we don't have EOB's". Unfortunately health care is a pain in the butt to navigate anywhere you go, but the inaccuracies in billing from this specific office have made it even more so. I regret utilizing these folks for my service, not because the procedure was poor, but because the aftercare and understanding post-op were completely lacking.

Terrible scheduling experience. Was referred by Rocky Mountain Cancer Center. RMG couldn't schedule me for a consult (much less the procedure I was being referred for) for over a month. Couldn't have any medical provider (doctor or nurse) speak with me to provide some advice related to preparing for the appointment or steps I should take in the interim. Have no idea on the medical care -- but the scheduling experience was my worst experience dealing with any medical office/service provider.

Do not go here! When I arrived for my colonoscopy, they immediately informed me that I needed to pay several thousand dollars that they figured that my insurance company would not cover. I had called prior to my procedure and talked to the billing office to make arrangements, since I have a special situation where a 3rd party will pay all of my medical bills, after insurance has paid their portion. They had absolutely no record of my conversation with the billing department or what we had come to an agreement on. When you get a procedure, there can be 5 or more medical providers who will send you a bill. They said that I talked to the doctor's office, not the endoscopy center. I had no cash or credit cards on me, so I couldn't pay on the day of my procedure. Besides, if I paid, my 3rd party would not reimburse me. After a long wait and much anxiety, they finally said that they'd bill me. I went into my colonoscopy very rattled, and in need of the sedation. I love Dr. Evans as my doctor. Even though I will be moving out of state, I had made plans to return to Dr. Evans for my next procedure in 3 years. But not anymore, those plans have been cancelled.
