I have had the best experience with this office. I am a tough critic, having worked in healthcare for about 16 years, and healthcare leadership for about six years. Every staff member I have encountered in this office is courteous and professional. My physician, "Dr. V", is extremely intelligent. He takes a lot of time with you, never rushes you, and listens attentively. When I mentioned above that he is intelligent, he is able to explain things in great detail, and is very confident in his medical knowledge. I've been to a lot of PCPs, but none have impressed me as much as him in the short couple visits I've had with him. The only negative I would give is the wait times on the phone. However, this is usually an issue, because the staff gives their patients full attention when speaking to you.

No follow-up! They FINALLY agreed to send us to a pulmonary Dr, who recommended a sleep study. New West would NOT allow that Dr to do the test, we had to use them. Got a phone call there it was severe sleep apnea and needed a CPAP devise. NEVER, in 6 months have they asked for the card in the devise to get info. When we went for the intitial 30 day follow-up they had no info on the device performance. Stay on top of things because they don't seem to care as much about patients as keeping profits "in house".

I'll preface this by saying I don't write many reviews. It takes a particularly terrible or outstanding experience for me. Do not go to New West Physicians. At least this location. I was referred there for a very personal/sensitive issue, so I was already a little anxious. It started with the very rude front desk lady. She gasped and gave me a very dirty look when I told her I had filled out most of the pre-patient paperwork, but had a question on a few sections. She saw that I had printed the forms on both sides of the paper and gave another sigh of disappointment and said "we can't accept this". Ok. Sorry. Then she asked if I had a co-pay, and I wasn't sure so I said "I'm not sure". She said "What?" in a very annoyed tone. So I repeated. Then she literally said "You don't know if you have a co-pay?". It was a new insurance plan for me and I honestly didn't know or forgot. It's usually on the card, but it wasn't for mine. Then I finally see the doc who (was clearly in a rush) walked in right away and asked a few canned questions about where I'm from, if I like it, blah blah. Which is fine, but when she incorrectly repeats back my answers a few minutes later, it tells me she really wasn't listening. My particular issue wasn't even really addressed, we sped through a series of questions, she gave some generic responses, she forgot I said I would like a physical so I reminded her of that, and just generally felt like she wanted to get to the next patient to make more money. I've never felt more like a number, getting rushed in and rushed out. Then on the way out, I was asked again if I have a co-pay, which I still didn't know the answer to. I honestly feel more valued when I go through a transaction at King Soopers or Sprouts. I've heard this isn't specific to this location, but just beware. Probably the worst doctor's office experience I've ever had.

They always get me in right away every time I need it. I have had many many terrible experiences with a lot of doctor offices and this is the office for me!
