Roach Hotel is more like it . Recently I'd helped a friend home late one nite . And up to her room on the 3rd.floor . As she turned on the light there were roaches from floor to ceiling . There's no a/c units in the room's . If you want air flow into your room , you must leave the room door ajar and window open . This allow's the one swamp cooler which is in the hallway . . . Blow what little air out though your room . This is the only way of trying to stay cool . And at $700+a mouth you must share the bathroom which is located somewhere in the building . The Owner's of the Bakersfield Hotel are truly Slumb Lord's in every sense of the word .

I moved in ro room 209 2 or so years ago. I was dieing and under hospice care. From day one....both managers/owners have treated me fantastic.
