I didn't eat at the restaurant but found them to be pricy. The room was nice and the housekeeping service was outstanding. I ordered pizza from Boss Pizza and from A Slice Of Italy. Boss made a very thin crust pizza that was tasty and lite on the stomach the topping was very sparse. They offer only 2 sizes and I had the small which was about 12". The cost was 8.00+- the pizza was ready in the time it took me to drive the half mile to the store. A Slice of Italy was also about a 12" pizza. I also had combination. This is a thick crust with significantly more topping. It was flavorful and filling. Very appealing to the eye. For those of you who are Round Table enthusiasts as I am, this was a much better pizza. The cost was about 15.00- 20.00 but I also ordered a liter of Pepsi and they deliver.

Really nice hotel. Great banquet room. Great lunch service and all around fun and helpful staff. Would highly recommend. Coworker stayed over nite and room was modern and nice. Has nice bar area, mini Starbucks and a restaurant Inside. Parking also not an issue and free.

Couple girlfriends book the Marriott for my small bachelorette party. The room was not ready at 3pm when we went to check into the hotel, we had to wait 45 minutes for the room to be cleaned, even thought we were told no one had stayed in the room the night before. The part was a small group of women all in our late 30's. Almost all of the guests were gone by 11:30pm. Three of us stayed in the room for the evening and woke up early in the morning to leave the hotel. We cleaned up everything that was around the room including decorations and alcohol bottles. All of the trash was put in one area of the room since there was only one small trash can in the room. We also settled our bill once we left the room. The next day we were charged a fee of $250.00 that was just withdrawn from one of the girls bank accounts with no prior warning. When we called the hotel to inquire about the fee the General Manager Tony, stated it was a cleaning fee. We inquired the reason for the cleaning fee as we picked up the room before leaving and stacked all the trash in one area. He stated he had pictures of the room that would prove the room was "trashed." He stated he would call us back with more details. Over the next week, Tony never called back. We called him several more times and he refused to answer any of our phone calls. We called the corporate office to inquire about the policy for a "cleaning fee." The corporate office stated there is not "cleaning fee" and suggested it was a "smoking charge." None of us smoked in the room. The corporate office stated they would contact the Bakersfield Marriott and look into the reason for the charge. We were suppose to receive an email detailing the reason for the charge within 3-5 days. It has been two weeks and no return call or email from the Bakersfield Marriott or the corporate office. I would not recommend the Marriott to any person. Horrible customer service and inability to work the guests to provide information regarding policies they apparently do not have. Do not stay here!

Rooms were very clean. Great service from hotel staff. It's extremely convienent for events going on at Rabobank arena. Quick air conditioned walk away. Prices are steep however. If you can afford the rates, it's a great place to stay.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Bakersfield Marriott for a professional social mixer. I was extremely impressed. The hotel is immaculate, the staff is fantastic and the catering was superb. I was particularly impressed with the banquet room that we were hosted in and I would certainly recommend looking into this facility if you are in need of a beautiful space to host a wedding or other social event.
