As former worker and non-willing consumer at this store, I believe the following facts justify this one star review: 1) employees lack unionization 2) racial hierarchy in management and compensation. Black workers make far less than the white management despite performing more physical labor at minimum or near minimum minimum wages. This establishment is a wage plantation for books 3) the presence of a poster for Ayn Rand's 'Atlas Shrugged' on the first floor. The Republican Party's second bible 4) there is a Starbucks inside where tipping is banned. It is unfortunate that a locally owned coffee shop doesn't substitute this. By the standards of Donald Trump, this is an economic miracle - fair trade with third world workers is suspended, while American laborers are paid less than at many independently owned businesses, thanks to the profit motives of the business elite 5) the store's presence as a private bookstore providing for the needs of a publically owned institution, which should actually be the provider of books to its students

it s a book store everyone in should be able to spell book if they have read one to be honest but i guess it okay i would come in to read to find interesting things to research and write about when doing my working or working what ever it may i may have been at the time

I liked Barnes & Noble a lot. Great selection, interesting layout. No used books though, and nothing on sale. Sooooo was kinda pricey. Overall, I'd come back. But maybe not go out of my way.

Other than the short hours, this place is great. Nice cafe area to sit and drink coffee while doing homework.
