Great store. Great prices. Selection can be a little hit or miss and don't expect the staff to come running to help, which can be good for some, not for others. Somehow they consistently get stuff on the shelves before it's release date, sometimes a week early. Can be loud inside and sometimes the music is terrible but worth a stop anytime. Recently expanded headshop right in front counters could be a little off-putting for some, especially with their excellent, low price selection of kid's media.

A fantastic store with great inventory, The Sound Garden invites you in as you walk by to marvel at records past and present. The place has a great vibe and prices are surprisingly fair. The issue with this store is that service can be hit or miss. Asking one of the staff members what the return policy is prompted the answer: "I'm not really sure man I don't know what to tell you". I also got yelled at by a staff member for testing a pair of speakers even after I got permission from another. Interactions like that take away from an otherwise great atmosphere.

Havent been here in years and used to love getting my records from here. Unfortunately, It's become more of a head shop than a record store. I was just looking for a few records, not get high walking through the door. Bong everywhere!! Was disappointed walking in..left without getting anything.

I've been buying books and blu rays here for about 4 years.  I don't know how they're able to sell the books they get for so cheap but they're brand new and never full price.  I'm not complaining!  Love this place.
