The trail head says the hike is 2 miles, but my tracker stated it was only 1.5 miles. Very mountainous so even though it's a short hike, it can be difficult. The views are amazing along the way. The trail is not kept up well in some areas, the family and I had ticks all over us when were done.

The first time we came we were bummed to not be able to find a place to fish on the side. It is mostly residential around the lake and there are only a handful of fishing spots. The second time we came we brought our kayaks and fished and it was better. The lake is a good size. We didn't catch anything, but we did get a few bites. It is a clean lake and has a decent loading area. It is small though and so parking fills up quick.

I love taking my dogs to the dog park here, they have a separate small dog and large dog enclosure for each.  The large dog side does not have grass, but has a very nice walking area in the back that is forested. The small dog side has some grass.

This is a great park on the east side. It also has beaver lake and beaver lake lodge. I attended a wedding at the lodge which was large enough to comfortably accommodate the 85 guests. The reception was also held in the lodge. There is a large covered structure with a fireplace that is also available near the lake that could be used separately or in conjunction for larger groups. There is onsite parking as well.

Seperate Off-leash Areas for large and small dogs.  Dogs are free to play and run freely.
