Wow!!!! What an experience. This is a quaint Italian restaurant located near Broadway shows. Most people sitting near us were attending a show after dinner. The restaurant recommends that you make a reservation for 5 PM if you're seeing a show at 8 PM. They have your normal menu to order from, but then the surprising part to me was the specials! If you decide to go with their pasta special, which you totally should, they serve 3 different pastas and give you a serving of each. They continue to come around with the pastas until you feel like you've had enough. These are not your basic pastas either! The night I was there they had some type of creamy pasta with clams which was delicious. Unfortunately I forgot the other two since I am reviewing this several weeks after my visit. If you choose the pasta option, you also are able to choose a salad option which arrives prior to the pasta. I really enjoyed this place. I wish we had one where I live! Very neat concept. Beautiful interior. I was pleasantly surprised.

This is THE perfect place to go to before or after a Broadway show. The service is fast but not rushed and the food is amazing. I love how they co.e to your table with Caesar salad right off the bat followed by your choice of 3 types of pasta (made fresh daily) and they're all outstanding, then ofc you choose a main course. It sounds a bit pedestrian but it's NOT.

Good portions, friendly enough service. Big focus on pre theater crowd. The unlimited pasta is a terrific value. Some of the main entrees were pricey, and average in flavor profile. Definitely a great place to take visitors in town for traditional Italian American Cuisine.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in NYC. Well priced for the value, great service and inexpensive, delicious wine. Incredibly accommodating of pre-theater arrangements. A gem. Get the pasta trio!

I truly enjoyed the food so very much! It was absolutely delicious. What I didn't enjoy and actually found a bit insulting was the service. I don't drink (especially now), and when with me my boyfriend doesn't drink either. When asked if I wanted wine or something to drink, I of course gave my usual no. From then on I felt the service went downhill. The two older women next to us did order wine and they got their crumbs cleared from the table in between servings of foods. They got their food brought out before us despite us ordering the meal first - because we didn't get drinks ( or at least that's how it felt to me - because we didn't order drinks). They even checked on the two women more frequently then they checked us. I just feel like we should've gotten the same quality of service. I didn't even want to stay for dessert I just wanted to leave because I felt so uncomfortable. My boyfriend ordered one but I didn't to try and leave ASAP. It was so evident and clear to see the difference in service. Usually, we leave very good tips if we feel we get good service, my boyfriend even more so than me... so for them to not provide the same quality of service because we didn't order drinks is bizarre. However, the food was divine and if not for the quality of service, I would've given 4 or 5 stars. I gave the overall experience 3 stars, but honestly I give the service 1.5 stars and the food 5 stars. My compliments to the chef! I wanted to go to Becco so bad because I would watch Lydia with my Dad in TV all of the time and she's one of my favorite celebrity chefs. So sad that I didn't get to truly enjoy what i was looking forward to for so long. I don't usually give public reviews but the service was so appalling I felt the need to do so this time.
