The location is excellent. It has a very city feel. It is located around the corner from times square so there is many ways to get there. The restaurant is quite large and seats a lot of people without feeling too crowded. The portion sizes are family style. They can easily feed 2-3 people per dish. The price is absurdly reasonable for a meal in the city. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone. My only reason behind the 4 stars and not 5 is that the service left a lot to be desired. They didn't give us utensils or napkins till we asked for them. Our drinks took a long time to show up and a few times it felt like we had to remind the server to put in the order. Overall though, I'm chalking that up to either a new server or one that will not last there. I still thoroughly enjoyed myself and the experience.

Every time I'm in NY, I drop by at Carmine's for a lunch. The food is delicious and fairly priced. I would suggest getting the fried clams as an appetizer, as it is delicious! For main course, I always order the Shrimp-White-Rigatoni pasta. Be aware: the portions are huge! So order things to share!

Location - 5 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 2 stars our waiter completely forgot about us. He greeted us in a reasonable time, got us our non alcoholic beverages and took our orders. He completely forgot about our alcoholic beverages and we didn’t see him again until we were ready for the check. Amenities - 0.5 stars this restaurant is sexist. They did not have a changing station in the men’s room. What are single fathers supposed to do? Fortunately my wife was there to go change her. Next time I’ll just go in the ladies room to change her.

Absolutely terrific. We have visited Carmine's for years. Great value, delicious food, wonderful service and left overs to take home! We took friends for their first time. They loved it and will be back. Well done again Carmines!!

Great Italian in Times Square but only family style in the table area. This means HUGE salads, apps, entrees. If there's only two of you, make sure that there's a fridge in your room for leftovers! You can also eat at the bar which has a separate menu where you can get more reasonably sized plates. Good drinks and excellent service all around.
