Been shopping Belks/Providence for years. I go for the clothes as I can always find something on sale. I tend to stay away from the bedding, cosmetics and shoes just because I can't really find super deals in those departments. Customer service has always been great(okay, once several years ago I had a run in, but the associate is no longer there). Their coupons are a little misleading due to the fine print exclusions, so I rarely use them. Never super crowded even during the holidays.

This is the worst customer service. 
I  have used clinque products for 20 plus yrs and thought i would be nice to have a clinque store closer to go to but these people know nothing and treat you badly .
They want you to buy products and bonus sales but fail to contact you when it's time never had this problem before .So now I will be taking my money and business back to Dillard at rivergate .because at the very least you get treated respectfully.

THIS BELK OVERALL HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I WENT TO THE ESTEE LAUDER COUNTER TO PURCHASE THE DOUBLE WEAR FOUNDATION. THEY INFORMED ME IF I DID A PRE-ORDER I WOULD GET A FREE GIFT SO I SAID WHY NOT AS LONG AS I GET IT BEFORE MY TRIP TO VEGAS WHICH WAS 4/10/2017. THEY SAID IT WILL SHIP ON 3/30/2017 AND MAY TAKE UP TO 10DAYS. TODAY IS 4/29/2017 AND I HAVE NOT YET RECIEVD ANYTHING! I CALLED SEVERAL TIME AND STILL HAVENT RECIEVED 
ANYTHING!

It was horrible. They didn't even acknowledge me. An employee looked right at me and went on to someone else. This place is legit crap and needs better employees.

Ad in Sunday paper said all Animal Planet items were 60% off. Went specifically to look at these. There was no display in the store. I asked someone for help and they said there were a few dog beds in the storage room. They went to get them for me and all they had were small beds. They said they would be getting more in sometime soon. Well, the ad in Sunday's paper said they had them in now, so thanks, but no thanks.

Also noticed that there was an empty box in with the other boxes of coffee carousels. If they used the contents of that box for the display, they could at least not put the empty box back on the shelf where someone could mistakenly buy it. I got the impression that this was a very poorly managed store. On my way out, I discarded the coupons I had in my hand for Belk. There are far too many competitors I can go to rather than to have my time wasted with their nonsense!
