Bell's Island Campground is a very nice and quiet little place on the coast of North Carolina. It's a great place to park RVs and is relatively adjacent to the beaches of the Outer Banks...within 30 - 40 minutes. There are also sites available for tent camping...both with and without water and electric hookup. The owner Bill and his wife are very hospitable and are excellent facilitators. This is a great centralized spot that's kind of out of the way located in a small quiet community and it's accessible to both the beaches of the Outer Banks and Virginia Beach within a reasonable drive.

Great family camp ground, owners are so friendly and kind and if you need a helping hand not scared of getting in there and getting things done.

We called in for reservation during 4th of July holiday, fortunately there was spot left for us for camping. This place is reasonable price, and super privacy spot on the earth. We checked in late due to holiday traffic, but the owner told us to call him whenever we arrived. We get there around 8:00 pm, and I called the owner told him that we wanted to check in, he showed up 5 minutes later, and spent time with us explain pretty much everything about campground. I would love to go back and camping at this place again.

Showed up in the evening and got a spot right on the bay. Beautiful sunrise!!! Had live music. And Bill the park manager was really cool!
