We go there at least once every summer. It used to be a fun, peaceful, family friendly day at the man made beach. Less so in the last few years since it's gotten more popular. A lot of people cursing, blaring loud music, not monitoring their kids, kind of crowded. I would suggest going at an off time. Like a Tuesday afternoon or something of the sort of possible. If you go on sa weekend or holiday, get there early and leave early or else prepare to be annoyed.

A great place to come hangout with the family or your significant other. You can enjoy nice walks through the "woods" or sit back and enjoy the Lakeview. Plenty of parking for large crowd during the summer. The place remains fairly clean most of the times I visited.

Just like any other state park. But also has a nice big lake with clear water where boating can be done. Stayed in a house near by through Airbnb. Calm getaway from the bustling city.

It's simply a good place full of fun things to do, great field to play sports , river artificial sand, great place to visit on summer.

Nice family fun ...swimming boating food...Parking is free and easy if you come early...I normally visit early am....and stay until about 3pm
