This park has wonderful mini trails. Short and long . A majority no the trails connect and will lead you back to the main parking lot regardless of which trail you decide to take near the lake. If you go after rain or snow you want to wear some ankle high or sturdy shoes for the mid spots in some areas . Very welcoming and clean park. I was able to get photos as the lakes were still frozen in some parts .

It is one of the gems in our area. There are several different Trails. You have your choice of fields, Forest, by the creek or up the mountain. Most trails are loops and not that long or difficult. We're lucky to have it in our area. Enjoy, enjoy

Nice area, would recommend if you are looking for a place to take a walk with. Dogs are allowed on leash. HOWEVER, A friend of mine and I went to get information from the nature center that is there for a school project but the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and did not want anything to do with us (except to see us leave). We ended up leaving with just pamphlets of information instead of actually talking to someone, which is what we wanted to do. Waste of an hour drive for us...

Nice lake for taking a walk fishing is good early in the year April and May when stocked with trout. Lily pads and other vegetation grows in around the end of may beginning of June limiting your fishing areas. Native trout are pretty much tough to catch. There is large mouth bass in the lake also not sure on the small mouth and there is lots of sunnies too!
