Great park for hikes and mountain bike rides around the lake. The just over 5 mile lake loop is mostly flat and well marked. There is also a nice beach and campground and picnic areas. Never had much luck fishing in the lake. Plenty of parking spots and public restrooms are available. Check the park website for winter activities. Pretty sure the campground is closed sometime in the fall for the winter season.

Nice view. Stopped by quickly and took it in for a minute on the road. To it's credit, it's November and the scenery is mostly gone for the season. But it's a nice stop up around the mountains.

This park has a campground. I visited the Lake to kayak. I was very impressed by the beauty. I enjoyed coming here and will probably do some camping next season. Word of caution.. if you're there for the day make sure you're things are completely packed before the Sun disappears. This area gets PITCH BLACK at night. I almost forgot to mention they have a nice little lakefront beach.

We stopped here off season after 4pm for a night. It was nice that we were able to check-in without an attendant. They use an honor system so you just leave payment in envelope at the office and just choose a spot based on the list they leave at the office. If you are staying more then one night, you would just check-in in the morning. They do have 1 washer and 1 dryer. Make sure you bring quarters. Only 2.50 for wash and 1.00 for 45 min of dry time. I wish we had more time to explore the park but this was just a stop over....will definitely stop here again if in the area.
