Hickory Run is a beautiful state park. We hiked Hawk Falls and Shades of Death which are both easy trails with great views. Even just driving through is worth your time. Loved it!

Very nice State park. Has many trails for different levels of hiking. The park contains various camping sites and picnic areas. Also a must see is the boulder field. It is a awesome site.

Nice area! We stayed in a cabin and it was really nice. The bathrooms near the cabins were outdated. They are holes in the ground and you had to travel to shower. The hiking trails were great! We did them all! We hiked all the way to boulder field (long hike) to find a parking lot that takes you to the same place when we got there. Lol. We saw tons of wildlife. We woke up to deer near our cabin every morning. Faculty was very nice! The store there was never open the whole time we were there. We needed tick spray because the ticks were terrible!! We found about 8 on us!
