Connects with State game lands, for miles and miles of single tract and fire road. Active hunting common on the gameland in season, so be sure to dress appropriately if you are venturing off the state park land. There are several loop hikes of varying mileage and intensity. Some have a view of the ski slope and near by Camelback

Nice park, but it was closed, so facilities were limited. Still, it was nice to walk around and see the views

as many times as I drove by the signs for big pocono and finally decided to check it out well I can say it wasnt what I expected its basically a bunch of hiking trails no lake or campground or park for the kids but the view definitely makes up for it some of the best views I have ever seen on certain occasions you will be above the clouds totally awesome and there are grills and tables for cookouts definitely worth checking out if you enjoy a great view

This is a pretty awesome place but I wish that a few cops would patrol here. My 3 year old and my family were almost struck by a speeding car. They need to put up some speed bump here to protect hikers. But the views are beautiful. I wouldn't recommend coming in the morning or on a rainy day because the fog makes it impossible to see anything. There must be a big rattlesnake problem here because they had warning signs and even directions to the hospital. Not a place for strollers unless you stay on the road (The speed limit is 5 but it's still a risk because you always have idiots who don't obey the law. )
