Benfield Electric installed my 36 KW generator 3 years ago.   It was a somewhat complicated job and they did it excellently.  It kicks in reliably whenever power is lost.   I have the 2x/year service plan and they have kept the generator in tip top shape. My most recent routine maintenance was today.  The technician, Rick Gardner, was particularly thorough and methodical with both the maintenance and the cleaning of the entire unit, inside and outside.  Great job!

I had an excellent experience with this company and with Zachery Lopez in particular.  They recently did some outside electrical work for a deck I just had built. The workers were always on time, kept me informed of what was going on, and finished the job quickly and far exceeding my expectations. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I've been working with these guys for a variety of projects since we moved into our new home in December 2015.  They have been prompt in responding to requests for quotes and in addressing all of my questions about the quotes and throughout the entire process.  They have installed electric outlets and lighting in my outdoor patio (which included trenching), installed additional light switches to improve basement lighting options, and a few other small tasks.  In all instances, they provided competitive pricing and called ahead to confirm appointments.  I recommend them without hesitation, especially if you are fortunate enough to work with Zach.  He is the best.

I called on Monday to setup an appointment for a broken photocell in my companies lobby; I spoke to James and he said that someone would be out on Tuesday between 9-11 and that was fine.  Tuesday comes and at noon nobody shows up so I call and they say that I never had an appointment and James would call back.  Well he called back and apologized and said someone would be out at 10:00 Wed.  On Wed nobody showed up and I called at 11 and James said that someone was on their way from Fairfax to Chantilly.  I called back an hour later and the receptionist calls back and James is at lunch.  After asking for a manager James suddenly shows up and says the person is just leaving now.  Well no thanks, I dont know what kind of work they do but if you have any type of a schedule I would avoid them.
