I had some brake issues last summer that Bennett’s looked into for me. The manager, Bobby, did not mince words and beat around the bush. He was effective at explaining what the issue was without using overly technical terminology. He also shot me straight at what needed to be fixed and what should be closely watched/considered for repair in the future. Not once did I feel like he was trying to push something that didn’t need to be done on my vehicle. 

Fast forward to yesterday where I was having additional brake issues. They looked into the issue and ran a comprehensive diagnostic check on them. The issue was associated with one of the items I opted not to have repair this past summer a faulty ABS sensor. It was just my luck that the issue with the ABS sensor finally gave out right after Christmas. Nevertheless, they were able to fix the issue within a few hours and treated the exchange like a valued customer. 

Overall, I highly recommend Bennett’s because of their customer service from the shop to the office staff. They genuinely care about doing a great job and making the repair process as pain-free as possible.

Bennett's Automotive - a shop to recommend!  Having been taken advantage of at automotive businesses from time to time, I appreciate an honest shop and Jim Bennett runs one.  He gives great estimates and even warns of upcoming repairs - like when brake pads are wearing down - so that I can budget for them ahead of time.  He also gives good estimates on the amount of time any given job will take, showing that he appreciates the value of my time.  I have recommended the shop and will continue to do so.

***I wrote this review 6 years ago and I wouldn't change a thing. I still recommend Bennett's to everyone I know who is looking for a mechanic. I love knowing I can take my buggy in and I'm going to get an honest diagnosis, fair pricing, and great service.

Bennett's automotive is a great hometown mechanic shop without the high dealership prices. I have used them several times and will continue to come back. Everytime I have used them I am treated like a actual person or friend instead of just looking at me as $$$. They have always gave me their honest opinion on work that I thought needed to be done on my car even if it took away from their total profit. The service that Bennett's Automotive offers is Smyrna's best kept secret tucked away on a little side street.

Amazing Mechanics in Rutherford County! I must say if there was such thing as a 10 STAR Rating I would definitely rate Bennett's 10 Stars!! Absoultely love there work and services! Fast, friendly, and amazing team!! Thank you!!

Bennett's was amazing.  They were quick to diagnose what was wrong with my car and get it fixed.  They stayed in contact every step of the way and I never felt I was being overcharged.  Definitely recommend them.
