Filled out an app online which btw is ridiculously set-up. Then recieved a letter that I needed to have an interview no later than 1/4/23. Only problem is I only received the letter on 1/7/23. The lady was rude n condescending. She said I need to prove I no longer work for my last employer which was a restaurant. I asked her like what because it's not like restaurants give u a severance package or a thank you note when u leave. She was like idk but u need to. I told her I've never had to do that in the other counties I've lived in. She still said I need to find a way to prove I no longer work there. My last paycheck MIGHT be accepted. So guess I'll go to my ex employer and ask for a note but we ended on bad terms so if she refuses then what? Guess no fs for us then lol
This year I was given a week to do the paperwork. It would be great to have time to get them through the mail. It means parking in city to deliver the forms. I can't understand why they can't send earlier.
They have really treated me well, the staff is very courteous and friendly and to be a public service that many people go to, they work on your case quickly and are very effective
These people are so Rude And I mean if u Dont like your job At Least cover up the Fact ur miserable and Have some respect for other people and whatever there going threw
Wow a case worker just told someone I work with to physically pull over when they told the caseworker they were driving.... sounds like they dont care about anyones welfare....
Every time I call they hang up don’t even wanna help every time I want to know what’s happening they saying that I missed an interview when I changed my number and they keep calling my old number they won’t even stay on the line with me more than 5 minutes they just keep putting me on hold
The Workers there are nice People, I imagine that it is quite difficult to please everyone, however, I believe that these workers try. Patients is a very strong virtue. My experiences there have been very Professional and thorough.
I was told me and my child didn't qualify for medical insurance because I made to much money. I work part time and go to school part time which takes up full hour days. Ms Gonzalis, the case worker would refuse to help me even when I submitted my information, my paystubs, and did multiple applications because my child and I need health care which was suddenly denied any more access. I am almost finished with school and told that my credit hours were also not enough with my employment hours to get child care. They don't care about poor families in despite need at all.
The worse, they send letters late and by the time you get it, you are already late to answer back.
I applied for benefits awhile ago an I even tried calling to directly speak with my case worker an didn't get to I been emailing an haven't heard anything this is the most unprofessional slow service I ever encountered! With Lancaster I would've been had my benefits already
