Reading the reviews and I do not agree with a lot of the one stars. Every time I go into Best Buy I have never had an issue. I do not like to be jumped on with how can I help you the second I walk in. if I ever need help they are right there to help me. I have bought a lot of products form Best Buy and the service has always been great. I will continue shopping at Best But. Chandler helped us on the 65" Samsung we just bought and we love it.

I've shopped here for years but I can't anymore. Store is clean and well stocked and employees seem to know what they're doing but they need to stop the gum chewing while they are waiting on customers. Aside from having a hard time understanding them it's just plain rude. They need to set a policy.

I went to best buy to get a new phone carrier for my iPhone 5s. I talked to a person named Trevor in the phone department. I asked about AT&T plan and if my phone would work with that plan. He asked if my phone was unlocked. I told him I bought it from a friend who had Verizon as a carrier. My friend had gone to Verizon and had the phone made as new for resale. Verizon removed his info and said it could be used with any carrier. Trevor said "that doesn't mean anything ". Trevor said he worked for Verizon and he would get someone to help me with AT&T but I would need to know if the phone is unlocked. He said I would have to call Verizon or my friend would to see if it was unlocked. So I called Verizon and they said that all iPhones 5 and up are NOT locked by Verizon, even if you bought them through the Verizon carrier. The term unlocked means you can go with any carrier. I would think Trevor would know this and I don't appreciate having service refused to me since I did tell him the phone was unlocked when I said, " he said it would work with any carrier"

Negative one star if that was an option. Terrible phone service- on hold for way too long especially with the amount of employees that have the free time to sit around and talk with one another. Usually I have them look me up by email and the gal said that was not possible. After a series of times not being able to find me in the system she says, "Oh let's try email." Also came in the other day to swap out a television due to the Geek Squad employee guaranteeing that is was possible to do so. He then scheduled me an at home service appointment because when I got there my television was over 40-something inches (and they only service in the store if it is under a certain size, the question of the size of television I own was never asked on the telephone therefore I drove clear from the opposite side of town resulting in disappointment/ complete waste of time). When the service guy showed up from Geek Squad he went ahead and talked badly about one his employees (the one that scheduled me the at home appointment). That does not seem very professional. Will not buy anything from here again.

Fantastic stores, great prices, great in store people. Phone sales and survive sucks big time, high turnover, poor training, often rude but some phone workers do try very hard to do a good job.
