This hotel is centrally located in the town of Lake Placid—meaning you can leave your car and walk all about town. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast room very pleasant with large windows facing the Olympic Skating Rink and the town. Our breakfast was very good on Monday with a service person making waffles to order. Tuesday was not quite as good. The pool and hot tub was very welcome after being out all day. We would good back again.

Great hotel. Beautiful rustic decor and a fireplace to sit by. Plenty to do for the adults and the kids including swimming, hot tub, sauna, and ping pong. The location was perfect, directly across from the ice rinks and walking distance to the shops and restaurants down Main Street. We did not have to use our car once during our stay!! The rooms were spacious and well done. Best part of the stay was the staff. They were courteous, helpful, accommodating, patient, and funny. Made you feel right at home. I would highly recommend!!!

After visiting and overnighting several times, we became members and have been gathering points when we stay. Sitting on the upper deck, overlooking Mirror Lake presently. Tidy room, easy check in, family friendly, decent breakfast (included) and All the amenities of beautiful downtown Lake Placid 💜💜💜

Our family stayed there for 4 nights last month. We came to ski at Whiteface mt. The hotel was in the perfect location to town and to the skating oval. The skiing conditions were marginal but the hotel was great. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was good, the cleaners were courteous and the the front desk went out of their way to help us. They gave good recommendations for dinner and even sold an unused ski pass that we had. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you.

Room was very clean; we had a nice partial view of the lake from our room with a nice balcony. Hotel was quiet, beds were comfortable and we were able to sleep peacefully. Pool and hot tub were very clean and so was the pool area. My only suggestion would be to have a few life jackets available for guests to use and child size ones. The breakfast was good although I wish there was more of a variety. But all in all we had a great stay and would definitely come back!
