We booked this room at a very low rate, so my expectations were not high.  However, we were pleasantly surprised at every turn.  The gentleman who checked us in gave us some great recommendations for where to get dinner and things to see.  Staff was courteous all the way around.  Above average pool area, with a nice hot tub.  Our room was poolside and opened up right into the pool area.  Breakfast was good too!

Not the cleanest, but better than some in Lake Placid however. 
Nice staff, responsive to concerns. But you can tell they are on a limited budget. Last major renovation was probably before the 1980 Olympics.

Great looking place from the outside. They have a nice indoor pool where my son attended a birthday party. Overall a well maintained inn. I would recommend it to anyone with a family looking for a cheaper place to stay in the Lake Placid area.

Comfy bed, small TV with lot of channels. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Decent free breakfast

Most disgusting place I ever stayed in. Rooms are falling apart. The staff is nasty. The food was undercooked and even with meals included, everyone in our group had to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was nasty...how hard is it to cook breakfast? Don't make the mistake we did. There are so many nicer places in that  beautiful town.
