I booked a three day pass and was given a bonus day. We had planned on using the bus to navigate to our destinations over a four day period. The first day worked out perfectly. We were able to take the whole downtown tour and was able to hop on and off at a few locations. Each of our tour guides were very informative and had great personalities. The second day started out with a long wait for a bus to do the uptown tour. We ended up deciding to walk to Central Park instead of wasting so much time in line. We were going to do the night tour on our second night but once again it was an extremely long wait. The guides on the street told us they were sending extra buses but the line stretched over two whole city blocks and they couldn't guarantee us that we would be able to get on a bus before the night tour ended. Considering we spent money for three days and was really only able to use one day it was not worth it. One thing that really upset me too was they had Big Bus employees on the street trying to sell the tours to people walking along the street and they couldn't even accommodate the one's they had already sold tickets to.

My best friend and I paid $59 each for 2 day pass..includes one cruise boat to the Statue of Liberty..only time for cruise is 10am or 1pm but you have to be there at least 30mins! Best money spent if you don’t have any idea where to go! A map is provided for you to show where you can get off and then hop back on to any big bus tour bus! Johnny was very informative and told us a lot of the NY history and gave us great suggestions of places to eat in NYC!! All the staff were friendly!

We bought Explorer passes while we were in NYC. We took one of the Big Bus tours and the tour was alot of fun. The tour guides on both the buses we took were informative and had great personalities. We were very happy until we went to the Statute of Liberty attraction on Sunday and one of the Big Bus representatives tried to get us to pay an additional $18 to get on the ferry, when I tried to explain that it was included in our pass, he laughed at us and tried to bully us into paying the additional $18. Fortunately, we did our homework and knew the ferry was included with our pass and we continued onto the ticket counter and got our tickets without any additional cost. Trying to trick people into paying extra money seems to be their business. Very disappointed - buyer beware!

We got the premium tickets for the hop on hop off bus tour New York. This was ideal for our 4 day stay with limited time in Time Square NY September 2017. This was so convenient to get around, there are so many stops to make it easy to get to where you want. It was very useful in getting to the different attractions & destinations, without the hassle of using the confusing subway routes. The bus tours provided so much detailed information & knowledge of NYC. I highly recommend this to first time travelers to NYC. We did a night tour which was fantastic & will definitely do again when in NY again. I must say our night tour guide Leon was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating, best tour guide we have ever come across. Leon provided detailed information of every building, monument & structure. It was like having a real life Siri in front of you that knew every detail of NYC. Our driver Lee was exceptionally amazing, the way he navigated through the NY traffic, meant more time sightseeing instead of sitting in the heavy traffic.

After reading negative reviews I was reluctant to book but as other competitive buses were not running the week I was there I had no other choice. I called ahead of time with a few questions. They were extremely helpful over the phone. Upon arriving, I had no issues after buying online. The commentators were very informative and a bit comical. I really enjoyed the bus tour and was very helpful getting to different attraction points without the worry of the subway and trying to figure out those routes. Great experience and recommended for sure!
