Stopped in for the first time and had the blue bacon burger and a small side of fries.  Fast, friendly service.  The fries are awesome but could use some salt!  The burger has a nice size patty and is very tasty.  If you like your burger cooked medium, you may want to indicate that when you order.  Overall, very good and I'll definitely be back!

I CANT STAY AWAY!! The burgers here are AMAZING! For $10 it is very worth it. Every burger so far has been juicy, hot, very flavorful, and just plain amazing! The tots are very good as well! Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

I LOVE burgers-  Big Juds did a great one for me once and I raved about it to people. I showed people the photo of my beautifully crafted meal and recommended friends and family to attend. I did notice some reviews stating Juds had gone downhill but relied upon my own past experience and brought a friend here to buy him lunch and try a great burger place. Our experience was as follows:  We walked in and waited a minute and then rang the bell for service. A guy burst from the back and asked how many, ran to a table and dropped us off. Our server came to us about 5 minutes later. Jackie, she was nice enough-  We ordered burgers, tots, rings and drinks.  There is a party of 8 and 3 other tables besides us. As we are sitting there, food is racing out of the kitchen in to-go bags to sit on the pick up table for door dash and such . After 20 minutes I asked after the food, she checked on it and came out with the tots and rings and assures us the burgers will follow soon.  We have no plates or anything but proceed to snack on the sides we received. Burgers come out and WOW ... what a disappointment. As I mentioned I have been here before and had taken a photo of my food which was beautiful. I dont know what happened here but I was so shocked. Jackie came by and asked how everything was and I said " doesn't this come with lettuce and tomato and stuff on it? I got a double bacon blue cheese burger Jackie said " yeah I think we are running low or something.  My friends burger came with lettuce and tomato... - food is still flying out of the kitchen in to go bags-  she says ... do you want more? And I say ..  yes please. She returns from the kitchen and says it's my lucky day and hands me a plate with a leaf of lettuce and a slice of tomato.  This experience is so weird so far. She returns later with the bill and I paid and left.  I will probably never go back, and this is my new Big Juds story to replace my previously wonderful experience  Here are the photos of my two burgers. Same burger. Same place ... same price...sad face.

There is a reason this place gets consistently voted as one of if not THE best burger in Boise. Like all the other reviews mention, the burgers are delicious and nicely sized we had the mushroom and the hickory. The fried pickles are also very good.  My first visit was today but it will definitely not be the last.

Large burgers, great atmosphere for all ages. Christina Beck is an outstanding manager. I highly recommend big juds to anyone who appreciates good food and a friendly atmosphere.

Good service and burgers. They give you a whole basket of tots. This is just the little burger. They also have a big Judd burger that is huge and if you eat it all and all the tots the burger is free. I haven’t ever tried although my husband has taken the youth from our church several times and many of them have taken the challenge. Some have even succeeded! They love it!

I had the mushroom burger without onions. I ordered it medium rare but it came back closer to medium well. The waitress offered to send it back but it actually tasted ok. She went ahead and gave me a credit which was nice. The menu said that a pickle was included with each burger but we didn't get any. Overall the burger tasted good and the service was also good.

Our server was amazing. They serve BIG portions here, so come with a hearty appetite. Not a place for a salad, but an excellent spot for amazing burgers, fries, fried pickles and milkshakes. Be prepared for the food takes awhile. This isn't a fast food joint. But it was a ton of fun to challenge my teenage son to see if he could eat a Single Big Juds Meal to himself.

This is a great place to eat and they have that special 1 lb and 2 lb burgers. I ate at the original Big Jud's and over the years it has become more modernized which is good to attract the young crowd but I miss the old.  Overall still a great place to bring your family and have a great time.Food: 5/5

Best tasting hamburger in Boise area. They are known for their giant burgers but let me tell you their food is really good here. I absolutely love the tots. The portion sizes of french fries, tots and onion rings are impressive.
