Just bought an awesome little first car for our daughter. Great price. They base prices on the web and we got a great deal. Our daughter is thrilled. We realize that it's a gamble buying used and you never know what problems will come up or how soon, but we feel like we got a good price.  My husband is happy and is a trained mechanic. Recommended to my brother who is also shopping for first car for daughter.

This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with car shopping. We had John Tarantelli as our sales consultant. After pulling up the credit he says its a great score, but there's just not a lot built up yet. Then he asked how much of a down payment we were willing to put down. Mind you we came to look at a Pontiac g6 listed for 4,500. We said as of today, we have 700. Other than that, we will have a larger down payment in a couple days ( payday). After John left the room a few times to talk to other salesmen, he finally comes back and says we can't get financed based on our credit. Then stutters and asks if we can put 1000 down. We told him again not today because we only have 700, but Friday we both get paid. Then we will basically cover most of the car payment. He laughed under his breath. So I asked if we could test drive it to see if its the car we want and he said no. He denied us even to test drive there 2008 Pontiac for 4,500. Being serious buyers, we immediately googled another Pontiac g6 and found one at Columbus Auto Source on Frank Road 1390. I called and spoke with Matthew Paley who then had the Pontiac started and already warmed up for us when we got there. Within 2 minutes of arriving we were off test driving what turned out to be our dream car. Matt assisted us through the whole process and for the first time it felt like a car dealer was actually on our side. This Pontiac was listed for even more than the one at Bill Leggett Automotive at 6975. I hope that everyone gets the chance to walk away feeling like they won a prize when car shopping. I recommend Columbus Auto Source to anyone looking for great service and dependable cars. I will never waste my time at Bill Leggett Automotive again. If I wanted to be laughed at I would have been a comedian. Not trying to purchase one of your cars. No wonder they stay on the lot for so long.

I have purchased several vehicles through the years.
A Dodge Intrepid, Lincoln Continental etc. They don’t service their cars. The tire wet on the tires and fancy salesman lingo reminds me of taking my kids to the fair and the game hustlers telling my kid they will guarantee them a prize every time. Although that prize much like the one you receive at this lot is a dud. The sad thing is they really don’t care. The owner is never nice or ever says hello when seen out and about. It is sad that this place has been around as long as it has. Thank God for reviews. Stay away!
