Unlike a lot of playgrounds around here, it actually has swings in addition to a nice play structure. It has a large covered area good for birthday parties, bathrooms (though I've never used them), some uncovered picnic tables overlooking the steam, and adequate parking. There are large open fields to run or picnic in, big enough for flying kites. There is a long paved walking trail with a nice bridge that goes over the stream, which is also clean enough to swim in, fairly easily accessible, and pet friendly, but be wary with little ones as like most natural water sources, it gets deeper suddenly. All in all, one of my favorite local parks, well maintained, and a great place to have family pictures done.

Went out to play Amtgard with the local group. Had blast with all the room. Even had plenty of family play areas for kids and the pavilion had a fireplace. Diferently a good park to play at.

Beautiful scenery. Nice big playground. Free to come and swim in the river, tube, fish, play, picnic, take photos, have baptism ceremonies, hike, walk, learn about nature, etc. Bathrooms on site. Parking is questionable on a sat when tons of people are there, or for an event. And you have to call to rent/reserve the pavilion.
