Story

Billy reeds is a palm springs landmark with great food at afordable prices.Billy reed and robbie opened Billy reeds in 1975.They sold the restaurant in 1987 but remained owners of the property.The 25 year lease was up april 1st 2012 and they bought the restaurant back.As of april 1st Billy reed and Robbie and new owner David scott are now managing the restaurant.

My boyfriend took me here for our anniversary and it was absolutely amazing! Great service (five different servers checked up on us and we never ran out of our drinks), there was no wait for a table, and we got our food around 15 minutes after ordering (two steaks). They're not too expensive, either! Would definitely go back.

Billy Reed is a real guy cooking up some of the best desserts in the desert! The best Boston Cream Pie as well as other amazing cakes and pies all made by Billy! Very hospitable staff serving delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners! Excellent homemade cinnamon rolls, Eggs Benedict, burgers, salads and dinners almost as good as Mom's - Not to mention the full bar! All served in a beautiful setting of antiques and collectibles. Billy Reed's is the treasure of North Palm Springs!

Good old-fashioned comfort food at its best! I saw the honey stung Fried Chicken on the menu and had to try it. It was very good. Nice and moist with a very good slightly sweet crunch on the outside. I brought a pecan roll home for dessert and it was exceptional as well! I mentioned it to my aunt and she got very excited so I went back to the restaurant and got two more of them to go. She will have a nice surprise tomorrow night!

We are from Minnesota. It was our last evening in Palm Springs, ( we were here for awhile escaping winter). Wanted a nice dinner. It was AMAZING!!! Filet Mignon was the best. Lorraine was our server and she was pleasant and attentive. Making sure all was well. We will be back again next year when we come to stay for awhile. Thanks for a great evening😊

Love the atmosphere. Huge portions. If you get a cinnamon rook or pecan roll, be prepared to share it with 2 or 3 other people. They really are good. The only minus is their coffee. It's standard fare at best. Otherwise, a terrific place to take the family for any meal.
