Story

Restaurateur Mark Van Laanen has gained recognition in the Palm Springs area for many things, but most notably, his ability to create unique and delicious restaurants with a fun atmosphere! As former partner and executive chef of both Trio Restaurant and the Purple Room, Mark has always had a passion for taking the ordinary and turning it to extraordinary. Thus began On The Mark, a one-of-kind gourmet food market and deli, where you can find all sorts of artisan craft goods and high-quality specialty foods that you can't find at your local grocery store.
