So. Incredibly. Good. Their Hog Jowl Nachos are the best nachos I've ever had. I had the green chili Navajo taco and it was good but not mind blowing. Not like the nachos. My friend had the steak tacos and those were really amazing. Two friends had the fried chicken and that was good as well. For drinks, the cactus pear lemonade was really good- refreshing and not too sweet. The Naughty Palmer was good too, very aromatic, zesty, refreshing and delicious. For appetizer- the lavender honey friend bread was SO GOOD. Definitely eat here. Great ambience with dim lighting and soft music in the background.

Excellent food, our server was very good as well. Loved the stew and fried chicken. Fry bread was delish. We were there on a Friday night. It was difficult to talk to the for people at our table because there was loud conversations among us. We highly recommend this restaurant for creative delicious food.

When compared to the restaurants around it Black Sheep Cafe deserves 5 stars, but when compared to other restaraunts that charge similar prices it is a 4 star experience. That being said, the burgers are terrific. I had the BBQ Nickel burger last time I was in and enjoyed it thoroughly. The only entree that I saw on the menu that is Native American were the Navajo Tacos, which my wife ordered and said were quite good. I would recommend Black Sheep Cafe to anyone looking for a slightly more upscale restaurant in Provo, but would also probably say that it's not the "end all be all" experience for your dollar. Still a solid 4 star.

We really enjoyed the delicious food and friendly service! The worst part was deciding between so many tasty options. Everyone got something different and we all loved it. The lemonade was a bit too sweet for our tastes, though.

Food: awesome and very good. Service: Also good with friendly staff. They know their menu and chefs do a great job. I was, however, very disappointed with a reservation issue we ran into. On Jan 1 of this year, we had some friends in town and we wanted to treat them to some great food. Called Black Sheep around late morning on Jan. 1 and the recording indicated all reservations needed to happen online. So, went online and through the process of booking a reservation for 6 people at a specific time. Everything was set. I got an email confirming the reservation. Got friends piled into the car and made the 30-minute drive to the restaurant. Got to the front door and, nope. It was closed for the holiday. No messaging on the voice mail when I called. No notice on the website. In fact, the site even let me book a reservation on the web and emailed a confirmation. In short, it was a sucky, embarrassing experience that could have been avoided with a halfway organized approach by Black Sheep.
