If you need to color match a stain to existing wood, Jay will make it happen!  I went to another place and had them try twice; the color was not well matched.  Jay did it exactly on the first try in just a day.

Love this place! Jay's eye for color is amazing.  He can match anything and will give you tips for colors based on the direction your rooms face so that interfering blue light doesn't give you an undesired effect.

Painting ceilings isn't fun, especially when you're trying to match a color that's a 30-yr-old custom mix. But Jay showed me how to get a sample, and then matched it perfectly. I was able to paint my whole ceiling and part of my living room in 4 hours -- set up to clean up -- before my kids got home from school. Jay had matched the paint so perfectly I didn't need to cut in. No cutting in meant I didn't need to move slowly or tape anything. What a time saver!

Blue Jay Paint and Blinds has been a pleasure to work with. The owner Jay is very knowledgable and and the customer service is top notch. When we went in we had a lot of questions about the paints previous owners had used on our house and he helped us answer everything. Jay also educated us on the surfactant leaching that's happening in one of our bathrooms. After describing the issue he knew exactly what it was and what to do to fix it (this was also after several rounds of my Googling couldn't determine what was happening). He even helped us pick out a paint color for one our bedrooms when we were hesitant on how it would turn out. I highly recommend choosing Blue Jay Paint and Blinds and supporting this great local business!
