This place is fun to visit. I stop here once in a while as I work on that side of town. They have a HUGE selection of soda bottles, all sold as singles. It's amazing how many different soda brands and flavors they carry... it is almost overwhelming. Staff is always friendly. They have their own line of soda there as well that they sell in returnable bottles and bottle right there onsite. you can see the Bottling machines through an observation door which is pretty neat. They also have a wide selection of really difficult to find candy and treats. Things you wouldn't see much in your typical grocery stores. Lots of nostalgic candy to bring you back to your childhood. You can even stop in for a single soda, as they have a cold bath you can soak your bottle in that will chill it in just a few minutes while you wait. They also have some arcade and pinball machines there. The price of the bottles can seem a bit high at first, but when you consider the "pick your own" with their massive variety, it's worth the up charge to be able to shop for soda's that way. Most of these Soda's you wouldn't be able to find in a six pack around town anyway. You also get discounts for volume purchases.

Blue sun is a really neat novelty shop to visit. It's a great outing for the family, a date, or just by yourself. There's a couple of cool free pinball machines in the back. There's also a neat little machine that you can put your sodas into and it chills them within a couple of minutes. The soda varieties are so extensive that you can spend an hour in there and still be intrigued at every step. There are many foreign as well as domestic varieties of soft drinks. I love the recommendation board. The staff highlights some of their favorites and they explain the flavors. The staff is very knowledgeable and take sodas seriously. The only reason I am giving Blue Sun 3 stars is the price point. I just can't afford to shop there. The sodas are over $2.50 a bottle. That's more than fancy micro brew beers! Albeit, I love soda and I don't drink alcohol, I just don't have that kind of cash on hand to pay a visit to Blue Sun once a week. If the price point was dropped to meet local competition of hard to find sodas, I would make this my goto destination (local price point is $1.79 - 2.00). To think of paying over $15.00 for a six pack of soda considering most hardware stores and even cub sell high end soda six packs for around $7-12, it's just too much. I would love for Blue Sun to prosper. Who knows? Maybe they will. If they lowered their price, they could be a place where I could go to on a regular basis instead of a fancy occasion. By doing so, I think they'd double their business overnight. I mean, I definitely want to try everything in there. Think $1.99/soda or $1.75/soda for a six pack or more.

Such a fun atmosphere with retro pin ball machines and a train that sometimes run around the ceiling. They have any kind of soda you could possibly imagine and more. They also have a lot of candy. Very friendly and helpful staff that make the place fun to visit.

Very awesome place. They have an insanely large selection of different sodas. It's hard to choose what to get when your therem. They also have a bottle chiller you can use so you can drink one right away. The price per bottles is pretty good too seeing as some bottles normally would sell for a lot more. They also have a ton of nostalgic candies and milka chocolate.

One of our family's favorite outings. Everyone picks a couple of sodas and we take them home for a taste test. The staff is always friendly. The pinball is fun. Love this place.
