If you lease your Mini, don't return it here you will get taken advantage of. Per the Mini Cooper Lease Return Guidelines, any ding / dent is acceptable as long as it's under 2 inches. The lease coordinator Shane inspected my Mini and said I have many door dings on the passenger side along with a 4" crease. Thus, I was going to get a 300.00 bill. Knowing that dealerships typically charge way more than other repair shops I took my car to 3 different ding repair guys, all three could only find one door ding on the entire car and they all said it was well under 2 inches. So I emailed the General Manager of Bob Smith. All I got was that the lease coordinator says you have a 4" crease in your door and she is standing by her inspection. (see photo for the " 4 inch crease") So I took it over to Valencia where two Mangers did an inspection. Manager - "the car looks great, you have one door ding on the passenger side but it's under 4" so we don't charge for that." I literally hugged the guy. Thank you sir for knowing how to use a ruler. Maybe the lease coordinator gets a kick back for every dollar she can get out of lease returns. Either way... take it to Valencia. Also, I did take my Mini for service at Bob Smith, I asked them to do a tire rotation... they wanted to charge me over 100.00, other Mini dealers the cost is 25.00. Just a heads up.

Josh Gates in Service is amazing. He always takes care of my concerns with my car and provides the best service! I particularly appreciated last time when he knew I had to rush off to work, he quickly got me a shuttle and was able to continue the check-in process with me remotely. It's because of Service Agents like Josh, that make me feel good about MINI.

Outstanding experience in the service department by Josh Gates. I purchased a used Mini from CarMax after having to downsize from my beautiful BMW X5. I had a few concerns and wanted the vehicle thoroughly checked in case I needed to return it. (I was also experiencing a little buyers remorse). From making my initial appointment to my arrival at the dealership, Josh put my concerns at ease and went the extra mile to ensure he answered every question as well as provide additional information I wouldn't think to ask. He also took the time to show me how all of the key features worked on the car even though I didn't purchase the vehicle from Bob Smith. I am in LOVE with my new Mini. One look at the amazing new models on the sales floor and I know for sure that I will make my next purchase from Bob Smith, since Josh proved that you really can get outstanding service after the sale!

i came in here because of the great reviews they have so i had faith. i shouldn't have trusted them. yea i got a great deal but probably because they knew i was going to have to spend more on getting new parts for my car. i purchased a used 2013 toyota & i was told by the salesman that the car has to go thru tests & be serviced properly before it can be sold. he assured me that the tires had to be at a certain level but after my purchase of the car. the same day i was hearing loud road noise with a constant flapping sound. my brake pedals & steering wheel would vibrate at times when slowing down from fast speeds (freeway.) i took it to a tire specialist on friday but they weren't able to check my car because they were too busy so i took it on saturday. (i purchased the vehicle thursday at night.) the tire specialist told me that my tires were "cupped" making them irregular causing the flapping noise. as for the vibrating he said it was a balancing issue or brakes but he didn't check the brakes. he told me to go straight to the dealership i bought it from and tell them because it should have been taken care of before selling it. i did just that and when i got there this guy who i am assuming is the boss named chris came out to check out the car. when i told them what the tire specialist had told me he made a remark about the tire place trying to sell me new tires. right away i knew he was not going to try & help me in any way. he goes out to check on my tires and he rubs two fingers on one or two spots on each tire & then says with confidence that none of the tires are cupped. the man at the tire place ran his whole hand around each tire, you could obviously tell chris wasn't trying to even make an effort. the whole management team are acting confused as if they don't know why the car is doing this. chris drove the car & i rode passenger. i told him multiple times that the nosies and vibrations are more common on the freeway but he ignored me each time and just stayed driving on the streets. you could hear the flapping noise with the window down but chris kept claiming it was the tire quality because they're entry level tires which have loud road noise. the tire specialist told me the tires WERE cheap tires but that it SHOULDN'T be cupped which is causing the flapping sound. chris just kept denying the flapping sound. the sale was very smooth i have to give them that but its because they're liars and tell you that everything was serviced and had to go through tests but if that was the case then why would they sell me a car with tires that are irregular? they either have bad standards for their tests or they liars. they pull out the documents stating the car is sold as is & because i signed the contract which stated that it wasn't serviced because its not a bmw or mini cooper that there is nothing they can do. chris even stated, hey the car was priced at 10,00 & you got it at 8,600 so thats a good deal. like seriously??? could you make it any more obvious that you knew about the cars issues. i take fault for signing that contract without fully reading it. MAKE SURE YOU DO but they salesman assured me more than once it was. trash
