Since 1965. Open daily except for Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Central Time. Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store restaurant serves three delicious Southern buffets daily. We have an authentically recreated 1890's Ice Cream Parlor & Fudge Shoppe, charming Southern Gift Shop and the convenient Old Country Store's Dixie Café Takeout or Dine In. The food was really good. It was nice to walk around the store and be able to sit on the benches outside after we ate. We were placed in the back where a big group was having a birthday party. Felt like we were crashing the party.

I love this place.. anytime I'm driving through this area I stop ..it's one of the best buffets I've been to. If you love southern cooking you're going to love this place great catfish great Fried Chicken freshly made corn cakes griddled in front of you... its Got to a Country Store with an 1800 style ice cream soda shop as well.. enjoy!

Waited TOO long to be seated. Prices NOT comparable to quality of food. Over $100 for a family of six! Spoiled food on the Buffet. One host was very rude when asked for silverware. Another host was nice and stepped up to help when asked. Saving grace for the rating. Mandatory gratuity for parties over 6 means not customer friendly for parents with larger families. I will not go back.

Me and my family ate there yesterday. Chicken was over cooked and dried out. Both fried and baked chicken was like this. And the air conditioning was not working right. We're eating our meal sweating. We left as soon as we could. I'm not sure if me and my family will ever go back. It was a great place to go 17 yrs ago.
