Wow...I have never been talked down to so badly from an owner of a business before. The owner is terribly RUDE and has zero customer service at all! I had a medicine I get via mail shipped there last month, as it requires a signature and I would not be home at the time of delivery. I picked up the package at that UPS location with no problems and not a penny out of my pocket. I had this months medicine shipped there as well, as again, I would not be home to sign for it. I got a call from the owner and he said my package was delivered there, he asked if I had a mailbox there and replied no. He said I could not have packages shipped there and I would have to pay a fee today when I pick it up. I told him I would not do that, as I did not have to pay anything last time, and that they need to be consistent. He did not say anything back, so I asked if he was still there. He then replied, "yes, I am just waiting for you to finish talking." He kept insisting that I had to pay the fee as that is store "policy." After arguing back and forth and listening to his snide comments, he finally agreed to waive the charge today as I did not have to pay it last time and was not aware that that was store policy. I then told him not to worry, that I will never give them my business again, and he replied "ok good." RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. I will NEVER give that store my business again and I will be filing a complaint with UPS.

Mr. Thermon and Tye made my move from Jonesboro to Houston so smooth. I had plenty of things to move and did not feel like making the drive (again) to Houston especially since I would most likely have to do it by myself. I was told by a friend to ship my things with this UPS store and it was the best part of the whole moving process! They took my hastily packed boxes and repackaged everything to ensure fragile items would not break, liquids would not spill, and other items would not bend or become distorted. My brother, who worked in inventory management, and I were so impressed at how well everything was packed. They gave me the most economical price and had my things (16 boxes and a chair) shipped to my home. Mr. Thermon and Tye had the boxes arrive a few days after I did giving me enough time to rest from my trip but also enough time to get settled before school started. The chair came freight within 48 hours of it being shipped and was well protected. The gentlemen are so thoughtful, patient, kind, resourceful, and knowledgeable of UPS services and products. They kept me abreast of the process of packing and shipping my things. When we talked, I felt appreciated and that my things were well kept. They even called to check on me during the hurricane well after my things were shipped. Everything was well in my budget. They provided detailed receipts which made the reimbursement process smoother. I highly recommend this store for your shipping and moving needs. Great customer service and effective shipping methods. PS Mr. Thermon really has a heart for young people as I was able to witness him encouraging a high school boy who just walked into the store looking for a job. He was open to offering him position but he was more concerned with the young man balancing his school work and athletic commitment and preparing for college.

We have always had excellent service from Thermon and his staff. The convenience of having our mail sent to this location is important to us, but so is the great attention we get from the owner and his employees.

Thermon is horrible, I would have to contact him he would never call me. I shipped a PC to myself since I was flying, everything in it broke. I got a disinterested 3rd party to write up how much the parts cost it was $1100 flat. I was sent the check and it was only for $765.13. NEVER USE THIS STORE IF YOU ARE SHIPPING VALUABLE GOODS OR ANY GOODS FOR THAT MATTER. Thermon is horrible and should not be the owner. UPS corporate needs to reprimand him.

Was quoted a price of around $100 for shipping 23 dishes (a few plates, bowls, 2 platters, 4 cups). Scanned card because price seamed reasonable and NOT ONCE were other costs mentioned. Charged for 60 feet of bubble wrap - 6 items each were put in 2 giant boxes filled over 80% with bubble wrap - over wrapped and over charged.After I left for airport realized total charge was $236.78 for dishes 'insured" for $100. Ripped off. All charges need to be disclosed. Buyer beware. Packing materials cost more than shipping and more than items were insured for. Never would I have agreed to ship inexpensive dishes at that price - NEVER and owner knew it!! Never go there for shipping and have them wrap it in front of you. I was told he didn't have time to pack it that day.........so of course I didn't get to see the packages when done. NEVER GO THERE.
