After visiting every furniture store in Knoxville and still not finding what I was looking for, I popped into Brown Squirrel. I found EXACTLY what I was looking for. I liked that the sales people were not pushy, yet extremely helpful and kind. They offer some awesome textures and I appreciated that the pillows actually went really well with the sets and style I was looking for [as silly as that sounds]. Customer service, quality, warranty, and delivery went beyond my expectations.

Great selection of furniture with amazing finance deals. Prices weren't as high as compatible furniture places. The sales people are super friendly and not pushy at all. It was a very pleasant shopping experience and I dare say my favorite furniture store in town.

Yikes! We ordered furniture on November 24 with a delivery date of December 9. We did not opt take the floor model (couch) because I did not want to have a piece of furniture that numerous people may or may not have sat on. Yesterday, December 7, the sales rep called with good news and bad news. Part of our order was delayed; however, they could deliver the order in mid January (this was the good news). After discussing this with the manager, he offered several options. During this conversation, he mentioned that the ottoman we purchased was the floor model. I told him that we specifically requested no floor model pieces. He went on to compare it to wearing a previously worn shirt - yikes again. When I said we did not want the floor model ottoman, he said he did not want our business. Probably a good thing. We went on to source the couch, ottoman, chair and TV stand for about $1000 less. It arrives in mid January.

Update: the sales rep told us that the fabric on this couch was the best with respect to stain resistance- specifically a Great Dane. When we sourced this couch at another store, I asked about the fabric’s stain resistance. The new store sales rep told us that this fabric was absolutely not recommended for stain resistance.

Huge store. I wanted to buy everything. We actually just went for a bed. Ordered the one we wanted at a great price. The 2 delivery boys were very nice. They set up the bed in a professional manner. We are very happy with the whole experience.

Jim was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Introduced himself and let us browse their wide selection of furniture.  Found what we wanted and helped us through the procurement process. Thank you, would highly recommend this company to all.
