I’ve shopped the Buckle since the 1990’s and have visited many different Buckles across the country. This is probably the most unfriendly and unorganized store ever. I’m not sure if it’s in need of an update or if it’s due to management. They don’t seem very excited about helping customers. If you live in Des Moines, you should definitely venture over to Jordan Creek, you will be much more satisfied. The Buckle has a lot of cute things and since adding a few cheaper lines it offers more for everyone. While Rock Revival are my favorites, Daytrip at a fraction of the cost are super cute and comfortable too. I actually like the BKE tops and jackets more then the brand name labels or their exclusive Gimmicks brand and the quality is nice. I stopped purchasing Gimmicks bc for the price the quality is lacking, I’ve had so many things in the Gimmicks line stretch out, pilling issues, fades, threads pulled, unraveling and that’s just a few of my complaints. Recently they added a feature where you can request ahead of times for items to be pulled at your store location of choice to try on which is nice. They don’t have sales and their clearance rack usually contains much older merchandise which is a negative. I still recommend the Buckle bc I’ve shopped here for so many years. Most locations always remember a face, a plus. They have free alterations, awesome.
