I have been waiting for hours for them to fulfill an online order. They stated they wait until 100-130 orders are placed before fulfilling them. I fought and argued with them... I stood my ground for Wendy to FINALLY check the status to tell me the order was fulfilled. I called for the status- so why could NO ONE simply check the status? Why argue needlessly?

Horrible customer service. I came to spend gift cards that i asked for as a present for Christmas. I love their merchandise options.... however, I waited in line at the register for ridiculously long while one cashier just left and decided she was done instead of helping one of us in line..... closing was more important than customer service and there was still almost an hour until close!!! This is why I shop at target where I can know I get treated like a guest and not another paycheck.

I ordered some shoes from the store and today I went to pick them up. At the customer service desk, the associate with the nametag 'Lucy' was very catty with me. When she said she would be right back and left to get to get my order, I turned my sister and asked her 'is it just me or is she extremely rude and catty?' My sister then informed me that her name is Laura Jordan and she was definitely being extremely rude to me because the 2 of them went to high school together and did not get along then. When she brought my order out she very rudely said 'there you go Miss Boatright' very snotty-like. I said thank you. I scooted over so that I would not be in the way of the customer behind me to try on the shoes before I left the store in case they did not fit because I normally do not buy shoes without trying them on first. Again, very rudely she told the customer, ' welllllll, I'll get you on this register over here since their not moving.' Extremely rude. It is not my fault that her and my sister did not get along in high school and the fact that I was treated this way by an associate at a CUSTOMER SERVICE counter is unforgetable. I did not go into the store today to annoy her or be treated disrespectfully for no fault of my own. I also witnessed her be rude to another gentleman who asked her a simple question on her way back to grab my order. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and I would hope that JCPenney would want to have a friendlier, more customer service type of approach towards their customers than her petty attitude problem. And also, the first thing that I noticed about her, before I even spoke with her was her very messy, unkempt hair as if she had just rolled out of bed and came to work, also not a good impression on customers. I hope that she will be reminded how to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude in the workplace because she just ruined my whole day!

Does anyone answer a phone there???? I have been calling for over 10 minutes. Pressed "0" 8 times to try to talk to someone since it is the online order department. No answer. Tried Men's (option 3), tried Young men's (option 7) Misses (option 2) Children's (option 3) and FINALLY someone answered at the Children's department. Patty was more than helpful and I VERY VERY MUCH appreciate her actually answering the phone. It's beyond ridiculous that I had to call and spend over 10 minutes trying to get someone on the phone by pressing 12 extensions before someone who gets paid to be there actually answered the phone. I don't think JCP was that busy on a Wednesday (also the first day of school.) at 11:20 in the morning that NO ONE could answer a phone. .
