If I could give this a negative star rating I would. We rent 40 plus trucks a year. Had issues due to traffic and 2 hours late. They charged us for 2 extra days and then told us to call where we rented it and then customer service as they had no control over this ridiculous charge. So after contacting both other options, both told us that this location is the only ones who can fix it. So they straight lied to our faces. Overcharged us and we're pretty rude about the whole situation. I am very customer service oriented due to my job and this by far is the worst experience I have ever had. And due to all this nonsense we ended up missing our flight. If you are in Fresno CA, do not rent from the budget on ventura st. You will be happy to dodge this bullet. Go elsewhere.

We had a terrible experience at this place. I reserved and paid for the rental online. We go in to pick it up and they won't give it to us because my credit was too low. Why was I allowed to reserve and pay for the vehicle only to find out upon arrival that I can't get it? So I am distraught and scared, trying to figure out how we are going to get back to LA to catch our flight. My mom calls the office to offer her credit card, which they refuse. Then the man hangs up proceeds to openly insult my mother in front of me, calling her names. Extremely unprofessional. I stand up and say something to him, obviously PISSED that he insulted my mother like that. He then comes around the desk and grabs my boyfriend who is literally just standing there, he threatens to stab him with a pen. Then takes his duffle bag and calls the cops on US. Way to go, obviously we didnt do anything so the cops left. But wow absolutely atrocious! Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and just downright rudeness. My boyfriend was basically assaulted by the old guy working there and he was literally doing nothing but standing there, not saying a word. I will be contacting the management and company to let them know.
