This is hands down the best restaurant in West Yellowstone. The owner of this restaurant uses her family recipes handed down over generations. The menu is full of Spanish traditions and the food is prepared amazingly well. While other restaurants work under a formula that lacks originality and real quality and prioritizes turning tables over, Cafe Madriz serves superior quality made the way it should be without being rushed. Our paella (superb) had a 30 minute prep time.....everything from scratch and allowed to "set" so the rice and flavors were amazing. The salads are superb and the deserts are truly delightful. Prices are what you would expect for a superb dining experience......but not over-charged "resort pricing."

This was our second dinner at the Cafe during our Yellowstone vacation. Well worth the return trip. We enjoyed a variety of tapas at our first dinner, but we're drawn back by the pallella. So good. It was like comfort food for the soul.

Food was so good my wife and I had to go twice during our Yellowstone trip. It reminded us of our trip to Spain a few years ago. Staff was super friendly and I would highly recommend eating there if you have a chance.

Food was well prepared not fancy but only simple. Chef used high quality products. Great flavor of garlic and olive oil. Great craft beers. Sweet was simple prepared, great flavor and light. The service was Warm and smart. Price was inexpensive.

Awesome tapas restaurant! Very friendly and efficient staff. Get here early as a line did form, but worth it! Loved the paella! Meatballs literally melted in your mouth, I want the recipe! I would come back again.
