I haven't been here in years. I was in the neighbourhood and decided to come by for some afternoon tea. It was quite busy with customers constantly streaming through the shop whether to stay and eat or purchase some pastries to take away.

We ordered the fried pork chop bun, pork pickled cabbage vermicelli in soup and the chicken vermicelli in soup. It didn't take long for our food to come out. Each item is $5.99 with a choice of beverage (coffee or tea). Although the fried pork chop bun is good it is not worth paying that amount. We were a bit disappointed as we used to come frequently and remembered it being much better.

I was there today to pick up a mango cake that I had preordered only to find out that there was a mix up and they gave my cake to another customer with the same last 4 digits of my phone number... Waited 15 minutes while they sorted through their receipts. Couldn’t find it and decided to just take one out of their display. They took the cake to the back and were gone for another 10 minutes. Lady brought the cake back and said “I had to take off the chocolate placard so the cake is not perfect. Is that okay?”. What other choice did I have? Considering I spent almost 30 minutes waiting to pick up a cake I had preordered, they should have just given me the $2 chocolate placard instead of ruining a $50 cake... Horrible experience. Doubt I’ll be coming back.

Went there for a Saturday quick lunch. Food was subpar. Don't try their spaghetti bolognese, very watery and yucky sauce. Beef brisket vermicelli was ok for $5.50.  Tried their fresh mango cake for $28. Too sweet to my taste and too soft but it does have quite a lot of mangoes. Lots of other better dining options.

I'd put negative stars for rude unbelievable service.
Asked for chocolate cake preorder and was  told they "didn't make it". Even though I'm asking for an identical item I bought several times from this place for weeks past(something I repeated pointed out). But nope, just told they didn't make it, no clarification if the cake was discontinued or temporarily unavailable even though I kept inquiring. No apologies or effort to resolve this clearly confusing situation,  lady just in the rudest manner possible dismissed my questioning and went back to chatting with her kids....real professional. 
Too bad because they really make beautifully crafted chocolate moose cakes for 23 dollars(I say overpriced) that I use to buy almost weekly. Their service and attitude was always subpar but tolerable since I was only there for the cakes.... Then one day I'm just told they don't make it for no reason or explanation, fine don't  build a clientele base and don't take my money that I was throwing at you weekly.
Quality of products might be good but when the competitive market out there is huge, services counts.
Not sure what the status of their mysteriously discontinued cake is now because never walked in there since.

Their milk tea isn't as good as Marathon's, but it's decent. It does tend to lean on the sweeter side. Their all day breakfast combos are a good deal and comes with a drink for less than 6 bucks. My favorite is the pork chop with vermicelli noodles. They also have really good black forest cake and egg tarts.
