This is a great local business, and I definitely I recommend them.

Over the years, my husband has purchased a couple of Christmas presents from Campbell's, and I love them! He got a unique, hammered copper bangle and a white crystal pendant with a dark green line of tourmaline - they are amazing.

I have also been here for some basic engagement ring repairs over the years, and I have always found Campbell's service to be polite and straightforward. I got my engagement stone stabilized, a re-size, and a polish/buff. I've never felt I was over-charged. 

Anyways, this is a good local place. :)

Very friendly owners who have a true passion for the historical pieces. Great 50% off sale. Helpful and supportive, especially though my husbands and my indecisiveness. Definitely recommend shopping at this local jeweler!

I love family owned businesses, but this one in particular. I think they must have been in business at least as long as I have lived in Mount Pleasant, well over 30 years. When you go into a family business and you know you are going to talk with the owner/jeweler, you are so much more comfortable. My wife and I have shopped there, gotten appraisals there, had jewelry remade there, and (of course) had watch batteries replaced. We have been met each and every time with smiles and wonderful assistance. Their son also works there and creates totally unique jewelry - you have got to see these pieces! Wish I could have rated them 4 vs 3, but that's as high as the scale goes. Prices? Great! You have to wonder about the other places in town and who is actually paying for all those advertisements you see and hear.

I recommend Campbell’s Jeweler to anyone seeking jewelry alterations. My fiancé and I brought in an heirloom engagement ring from 1903 that needed serious resizing (size 10 to 4.5) and alterations in the setting (lowering the diamond). The ring came out perfect and they did it in a few hours! We brought the ring in right after Christmas and because they were going to close until after New Years, they hurried the entire process (including diamond appraisal) so that we wouldn’t have to wait for over a week for the ring. It was incredibly sweet and I was so happy to have my ring ready that day. Cindy Campbell was absolutely delightful and the service was very professional.

I am from out of state but this jeweler was recommended by friends in Mt Pleasant.  We needed to have one piece evaluated and repaired as well as having safety guards added to two other pieces over a period of six weeks. Everyone we dealt with in the store was very professional and attended to our concerns.  Work was both well done and very timely. 
As far as having a receipt in order to pick up your items, remember a piece of jewelry is a very personal or sentimental item and often expensive.  It's not like picking up a shirt at the dry cleaners.  And the caution used is really to protect you.  
In summary, we were very happy with the service provided by this jeweler.
