Is it possible to write 0 stars? I called at 6:30 this morning to book a cab for my son, who has autism. My son was starting a culinary arts course today at Fleming. The class started at 7:30. I asked for the cab to arrive for 7:10. My son was by the door by 7:00 (he has autism!) and waited. At 7:15 he called me in a panic because the cab hadn't arrived yet. I called the company, and was told the cab was "around the corner." I called my son back, told him to hang on, the cab was coming. 10 minutes later, my son called to say the cab still hadn't arrived. All that would have been fine, but when I asked the dispatcher why the cab wasn't there on time, when I had called in plenty of time, he said I had been told that they don't have the number of vehicles to take calls ahead of time. Excuse me? I would have driven my son myself, if I had been told that. In the meantime, my highly sensitive and autistic son was late for his first class, through no fault of his own, and now has a warning from his professor for being late. He couldn't bring himself to tell the truth, because he thought it sounded like a lie. I ended up being 45 minutes late for work because I ended up having to cancel the cab, and drive him. It was not a calm experience. Infuriating. I've had this number on my phone for years, as I used to call Capital Taxi for clients on a regular basis, but will never deal with this company again.

Words cannot express our Thanks for the Christmas Day ride from Peterborough Regional Hospital to our home near Oshawa. My 94 year old mother was thrilled to be able to join us for the day and have a glass of wine! Jim our driver was kind and patient and we enjoyed the time with him both there and back. The van was clean, and on time and we will recommend your company. Thank you so much for accommodating us on a very special day.

Fast and very friendly both times I've called. The first time pick-up took a little while, but both times they got me where I was going safely and on time. My Scotia VISA did not work in their machine the second time though, which the bank informed me happens sometimes with certain merchants. So if you use a Scotia VISA, bring a back up payment method in case it gets arbitrarily declined. Update: Another two times... First, never showed up and didn't answer the phone after for an update. Eventually had to call Call-a-Cab. Was an hour late to work. Second, the cab came unusually quickly but decided I wasn't coming and left. When I called a replacement cab (also from Capitol), it arrived, though of course I was running late by this time. The driver said he didn't bring a debit machine. I had no cash, so I was left at my doorstep and missed my ($30) appointment entirely. REALLY not impressed. The ride would have only been about $6; Capitol should have taken the loss to keep a costumer. As I lost $30 and was treated rudely by the driver, I can guarantee I will never be calling Capitol Taxi again.

Called for a cab. They said one would be to me in ten minutes and I said great because I had to catch a Greyhound to Toronto! Ten minutes passed. Fifteen. Twenty. Cab never showed up AT ALL and I wasted all my time waiting that I could've spent finding another ride and I missed my Greyhound bus (no refunds on the tickets).

Denied my brother and his fiance a ride because I told the driver they'd be an extra minute because one had a little too much to drink and was getting their boots on. Called dispatch back after, and they told me they might send one, they might not, because it's the ignorant drivers word over mine? What are taxis for if not to give rides late at night to the people who need them most? There's no public transit at this hour either. No choice but to be forced to walk across town in a vulnerable state? Ridiculous.
