It's nothing special, but it checks all the necessary boxes and for that I have no major complaints. The bed is actually surprisingly comfortable for me, something I usually have difficulty with at hotels. I especially like the pillows. I appreciate how clean it is, the staff seems to do a great job daily and I haven't yet felt that it was unsanitary in any way. The couch is a bit worn out and could probably use replacing soon, but it's just fine. Small complaints are that the curtains don't open very wide, and the windows are very stubborn to open, and you basically have no control over the HVAC. The room is basically kept at or around 70°F all year, which can be a bit warm or cold depending on your taste - more control over that would obviously benefit the customer. Finally, the kitchenette is fine but shouldn't be advertised since it doesn't include a single cooking surface - the microwave doesn't count, that's not cooking.

They had not put in our reservation that we had a dog, so we needed to board our 6 month old puppy (which of course needs to be paid out of pocket), and when we first arrived they had said our room would not be ready until the following day, despite making the reservation more than a month prior (and arriving on time.) So we needed to make a reservation elsewhere. 
When we arrived the following day, they said it would be at least 4 more days before we could check in. We made a reservation elsewhere again, and when we came back we were (thankfully) able to check in. However, I wish we had stayed at the other hotel. The room had an odd odor, and was not very clean. 
If you can afford to stay elsewhere, stay elsewhere. It was way too much trouble to stay here. The La Quinta on Prince is much friendlier, and the rooms are much cleaner. They will also get you checked in on the day that you reserve.

The TLF units for families with pets are modern and extremely comfortable.

Room was so hot we opened the windows for relief. Called maintenance and they came to tell us that 20° difference is acceptable. The bathroom has some exposed pipes coming out of the floor, like the toilet was moved but never capped off. I'm pretty sure this is why it is humid in the room.

Well, I can only say I had a nice stay three years ago. I had recently stayed here and had a bad experience. I arrived to find my room cancelled and was offered a pet room. This room was bug infested, mold on the walls, broken fixtures, and stains on the beds. They did refund my money, but I guarantee they are still renting the room until it gets demolished for renovations. I did speak to the staff about this and was informed they are to be renovated by September.
