Carlson Academy Team assembled one of the greatest teams that ever competed, with fighters like Ricarido Liborio, André Pederneiras founder of the Nova Uniao Academy, Murilo Bustamante world champion and UFC middleweight champion as well as founder of BTT (Brazilian Top Team), former UFC Light-heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort "the Phenom", Walid Ismail (another BJJ legend) among many, many others.

Started coming here about 5 months ago, my first experience training in Jiu-jitsu and its been a blast from day one. Coach Ricky in the morning adults class takes all the necessary steps to ensure you are learning correctly and practicing proper techniques. Also, their kids program is one of the best in the state winning 1st in many tournaments.

Our son takes jiu jitsu here and he is very happy. My husband and I also take boxing classes and love it. We always have a good work out. Highly recommended everyone is so friendly and helpful.

This is where I really got started in Gi Jiu Jitsu and Diego Segura, the man in charge, got me started in doing Jiu Jitsu. This is a solid place with good vibes, good people and good technique. They are constantly growing and proving themselves in tournaments both with their kids and adult programs. 

My background: Wrestler, coach, Blue belt in jiu jitsu, I have trained at many different gyms and can tell which ones are good.

We were in town for a tournament and wanted a light roll the day before.  They welcomed us. Made us feel like one of the team.  Thanks for the words of encouragement for the tournament and the work out.

My daughter has been going to this location for a month and she love it. There are a lot of children at this location and it seems to keep everyone motivated. They are very friendly and welcoming and the instructors are great with the children.
It is a very family oriented and professional.
