Trustworthy.  Reasonable.

While on a trip about 10 hours from home, my wife and I had the serpentine belt break on an older car of ours.  We called Carney's Auto later in the day (around 3, they were open until 5) because it was closer and I don't like taking my vehicles to chain places.  They recommended a tow truck and gave us a plan to get back on the road.

When the car got to the shop, they looked at the belt and noted it was in pretty bad shape.  They replaced the belt and op checked everything in the shop and then on a short road trip.  They stayed open a few minutes later to get us closed out (very reasonable labor charge) and out the door.

I was pleasantly shocked to find a place that would fix only what needed fixed, do thoughtful testing, accommodate beyond working hours, and charge a reasonable price when we were so far from home.

You won't find a better mechanic, or better person than Dave.  Trust him with your vehicle and you will be thankful.

Dave Carney is experienced, trustworthy and reliable.  He offers quality work.  He is a certified master mechanic and can offer dealership service in a local setting.  He works on all makes and models from the very elite cars to the car you just want to get you from point a to point b.  I have known Dave for about 5 years now and can easily say he knows auto mechanics and you can trust him with your vehicle.

Highly recommended.  I had a great experience at Carney's.  We were on a trip to 2nd home, and developed major oil leak from our Range Rover.  Carney's came highly recommended from locals.  I was not disappointed.  They fixed the leak, told me what was wrong, and did it on time at a very low cost.  I could have been taken to the cleaners.  They are honest and helpful.
