Avoid at all costs. "We dont do any welding" is the response I got when calling for service to reattach a fallen (NOT broken) exhaust. When I asked them to clarify if they had a welder or not, the woman stated they do not weld exhausts. When I asked them how they would repair the exhaust without welding, she stated they would only offer a full exhaust replacement. Clearly they are just trying to get more money out of your pocket.  I am not sure if forcing someone to purchase parts they don't need is legal or not. Avoid at all costs.

Brought car in for buzzing/vibrations around front passenger wheel. Had bearing, tie rod, ball joint replaced. Upon driving for a few weeks, noticed a bolt had become lose to the point of almost falling out and tightened myself. Vibrations on car returned so took to local repair shop to have tires balanced. Turns out all repairs done at Pep Boys had been done with extremely low quality/ethical obligations. All bolts were hand tightened at most, no where near manufactures specifications. One was even missing. Was told lucky damage was not yet severe. Beware of shoddy business, will never return to a Pep Boys.

Took my car in to have the oxygen sensor replaced because the check engine light was on -- had code checked at Autozone.  Told by Pep Boys that the oxygen sensor as well as all wires leading to it had to be replaced.  Within 2 weeks the check engine light was back on -- suspicious because told by Pep Boys when checking out that if the light does not come back on after driving 150 miles they would give me an emissions sticker.  Why would they suggest that the light might come back on within 150 miles if they had fixed the problem?  After reading these comments totally believe that this location is a rip off.  Have an appointment that I will cancel and take my car to a AAA location to the work that they performed reviewed.

Can also attest to the rudeness experienced by some of you who have posted here -- I have experienced the same rudeness -- particularly when calling into this store.  The corporate office really needs to look into the personnel at this location -- that is unless they condone the rude behavior and lack of integrity of the people they employ at his location.

Brought my car in for new tires. The tires were great and the service was fast.

I'm giving this a low score though because they really tried to scam me. They told me that my brake pads were really worn and needed to be changed immediately, which was a lie because I had just had new pads put on the rear a month earlier. They backpedalled and said it was the front that needed them. So I went to my regular mechanic to have them check it out. They told me I had like 30% of the pad left, and that was before it failed inspection, not to where it would put me in danger. A year later, and I STILL don't need to change them.

The employees at this location are not the friendliest or the most professional, but they get the job done quick.  I came for an oil change and was told it would be an hour wait.  I was in and out in 35 minutes.  The prices are really reasonable for oil change services and they offer plenty of coupons to get the price down even more.
