One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. It has a unique history which adds to it's appeal. It is also in the heart of St. Augustine so everything is close by. Their staff is amazing too. One of the valet was even nice enough to help out with a guests' engagement. It goes to show that the staff will go above and beyond for their guests.

As Centrally-located as possible. Upscale service. Good view of Basilica and Flagler from our room. Really cool pool area. Large room, unique furnishings. Downsides: pool water was kinda gross, hallways were dark and creepy, rooms were "authentic" (read: not updated), bartender was the worst.

The drive in to this hotel is easy to miss and narrow and it feels as if you are going into a cave. Rather interesting. Front desk staff and other staff very friendly and accommodating. I think that was the biggest takeaway for us. You pay for this type service and it was delivered. Our room was on the third floor and was street side to the museum next door. It was not noisy at all. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. You could hear a little noise but nothing that kept you awake at night. The hotel sits in an ideal location as you can walk to just about everything and the tour busses come within a half block of the hotel. Take a tour bus for fun and get the two or three day pass. We also tried the restaurant here at the hotel and while it was very, very good, St. Augustine has so many delicious places to eat. Downers: Breakfast service charge was outrageous and not mentioned on the room service menu. Be sure an look at the service charges because you might be double tipping and the service tip is very generous to the staff. The only other beef I have is the welcome drink. It is Sangria and apparently made special as the welcome drink and really brings the Autograph brand down as it is not made from quality ingredients. I do not understand this as I would have been more inclined to stay in the bar and have another drink but there was no way I was drinking this poor concoction of sangria. That being said, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a couple of blocks.

This is a fantastic hotel and facility. The staff was absolutely first class. The location is the best in St Augustine. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will make this my first choice every time I visit.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The staff is super friendly, the food is top-notch and the location is superb. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and due to the location, we were able to rest between activities. We'll definitely be staying here again.
