Disappointed this time. We come to Casa Tua every year. In September they usually have specials, but this year wasn't the case. The portions were smaller and not as good as in past years.

After many years we finally decided to give Casa Tua a try. We sat outside in a not-very-comfortable wooden table, next to a dog. The food was not bad, but definitely not worth the price. There are several restaurants within 5 blocks with food at least as good and not as pricey. I ordered a special consisting of 5 small ravioli for $30. The idea was good, but the execution not so much. Too creamy for the individual flavors to be recognized . It could've been any cream sauce.. I also got a glass of nebbiolo that was under par for the price. In sum, almost any other restaurant in downtown Aspen will be a better choice.For a great Italian/Mediterranean experience and nice ambiance you may want to try the Wild Fig.

Ate there this weekend and loved it. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful with elegant simple design. Even the bathrooms and the stairs down are elegantly decorated. The service was impeccable with wonderful waitress from Columbia and a gentleman who cleared and brought coffee. Good was tremendous. Be prepared to spent $100 per person. But you're in Aspen so you can expect that in many restaurants.
